FamilyWize Discount Prescription Card

United Way of Gloucester County is partnering with FamilyWize to offer free discount prescription cards for our community. By using this card, there is a very good chance that you might be able to save on your medications! These cards are used by people with no insurance, the underinsured, people with health insurance but no prescription plan, and those on Medicaid or Medicare during their deductible period and for medications not covered by their plans. The cards are accepted at most pharmacies. There are no costs for enrollment, activation or other fees and can be used by the entire family, with no age or income restrictions. The individuals' savings will depend on the specific prescription. There is no administration, paperwork, enrollment, eligibility or record keeping required. There is no cost to you and no personal information is collected or shared.

Providing relief and coverage for health care is a top concern for families in our area. A common question is: "How can there be no cost to the people using the cards?" Through the generosity and caring of the program partners, 95% of pharmacies nationwide have agreed to provide reduced pricing to people with a FamilyWize card. This program has sponsoring companies providing for the partial costs for paper, printing, bulk shipping and processing.
