Award Recipients

The Volunteer Leadership Award, United Way of Gloucester County's highest individual honor, recognizes long term volunteer service and leadership to the United Way of Gloucester County.  Created in 1984 by special action fo the Board of Directors, the award is presented each year at the Annual Meeting in the spring. 

Each year, the Spirit of United Way Award honors a select few volunteers that exemplify the depth of caring on our community.  This award is a tribute to those who demonstrate a special spirit, those who go above and beyond to meet the needs of our community.  The United Way of Gloucester County graciously acknowledges the lasting impact of their outstanding efforts. 

In 2009, United Way created the New Face of United Way award which recognizes an individual who has displayed significant cumulative volunteer involvement for two years or less, or a single significant action that contributed to United Way of Gloucester County's advancement.
