How Gloucester County Supports the United Way

Each year a number of companies within the community make generous contributions to United Way of Gloucester County. In doing so, they are showing their commitment to needy people in Gloucester County..
Employee Campaigns
Many Gloucester County employers provide their workers an opportunity to join in supporting our community through Employee Campaigns. Many of these donors are members of the Alexis de Tocqueville and Founders Societies. An Employee Campaign is easy to organize; help is available from United Way staff and loaned executives, who will walk employers through each step. Payroll deduction is the easiest way to give, spreading your gift across the year.
Thanks for Giving Program & Sponsorship
Donors who contribute at the Fair Share/County Contributor level or higher (at least 0.6% of annual pay) will be entered into the Thanks for Giving raffle drawings. The prizes range from a $2,500 travel voucher to $500 gift cards to area stores, to tickets to sporting events. This year the Thanks for Giving prizes were kindly sponsored by the following companies.
Volunteers
Whether for United Way or for another organization, volunteering is a great way to get involved in your community. Sharing of your time and expertise - whether driving an elderly neighbor to a doctor's appointment or mentoring a young person - truly makes a difference.
Personal Gifts
Your donation to United Way of Gloucester County supports local programs that are nurturing our children, empowering people with disabilities and providing basic needs for those who call Gloucester County home. Thank you for giving generously to your community!
